The courses are held in CanterburyKent and consist of classroom practical training, coursework, and reading material.
Classes are held over ten months, one Saturday per month, commencing April and September; Classes start at 10am till 5pm with an hour for lunch.
It is designed to ensure you receive a minimum 450 hours training consisting of:
Classroom Tuition Minimum 120 hours
Written Assignments
Reading Assignments
Ongoing Study & Research on Relevant Topics i.e. psychology
Class size is kept to a maximum of ten candidates to ensure each person receives adequate training and attention.
Candidates will be expected to take part in practical demonstrations of Hypnosis as an important part of their training.
The practitioner certification course will be externally assessed and validated as meeting set criteria and guidelines by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council. And provides the basis for, their externally awarded General Qualification in Hypnotherapy Practice (GQHP).
The Practitioner Course in Hypnotherapyoffered by the Abintra Clinic has been Assessed and Validated at Practitioner Levelby The General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (UK). Graduates from this course are eligible for professional registration with TheGeneral HypnotherapyRegister (the GHSCs Registering Agency) at full Practitioner status, together with the acquisition of the industry based award - The General Qualification in HypnotherapyPractice (GQHP)
The GHSC operates a member’s code of professional conduct and we expect all students who suitably qualify to abide by that code. Details are available on the GHSC website at www.ghsc.co.uk
Upon satisfactory completion of the course and sufficient pass marks of coursework you will be awarded a Diploma in Hypnotherapy and entitled to use the letters D.Hyp-Psy after your name. You will also be eligible to join the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council.
